How to Volunteer

“Faith without works is dead” (James 2:17).  “Show, by your life, that it is worth giving your time and talents in order to attain high ideals, it is worth recognizing the dignity of each human person, and it is worth taking risks for Christ and his Gospel.” Pope Francis (7/28/13).

Good stewards live with joy and gratitude for the blessings they have received—including those that have multiplied through diligence and hard work. Indeed, good stewards live in communion with Christ and through Christ and the Spirit strive to return all gifts to the Father “with an increase.”

As a stewardship parish, St Joseph offers many opportunities to put our faith into action.  Every parishioner and family member is asked to contribute at least “one hour a week” (or more) in our ministries and other volunteer opportunities.

If you would like to join a ministry, we ask that you also complete this form and return the signed copy to your ministry head or the parish office. In addition, all volunteers are required to take Virtus Safe Environment training available online from this page.
