Homeless Outreach Ministry, HOM has been bustling with members shopping provisions, children from St. Joseph School, Faith Formation, and Confirmations making Blessing Bags, families, friends, and members bagging the provisions into grocery bags, and members driving around the City and delivering the grocery bags to the unhoused people three times a week every week since the inception on December 8, 2024 at our Parish.

During this period we delivered 1,153 bags, each containing about 20 items of shelf-stable food that cost about $10 each. Also, we procured and gave away sleeping bags, tents, ponchos. In addition, we gave gently used clothes, shoes, jackets, etc. to the needy. We’re blessed with children, members, and friends supporting us full-heartedly. Equally important is the blessing of the treasure from the Parishioners that make the 100% self-funded HOM Works of Mercy possible. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
