Strengthening and Preserving Our Sacred, Historic Walls![]() Repairs to the south- and west-facing exterior walls of the Mission Museum will begin in June. This vital preservation work includes restoring cracks in the adobe brick and mud plaster, resurfacing the walls, and replacing wood sash windows damaged by weather over time. The project is made possible in part through generous grants from the Committee for the Restoration of Mission San Jose (CRMSJ) and the Fremont Bank Foundation. Parish fundraising efforts—including the upcoming Mission Anniversary Fundraising Dinner on June 14—will further support this important endeavor. Additional grant requests have been submitted by the parish and CRMSJ, and, if awarded, will help offset the remaining costs of exterior wall repairs.
