In this week’s Gospel, we learn about the story of a steward who was challenged because he reduced the loan of his master’s debtors. 

This is not an easy parable because we are asked to live wisely with the gifts the Lord has given us. “Wisely” has to do more with our distribution of wealth than its accumulation. Money, when it is not our master, can do great and wonderful things. Lk 16:1-13
