Home visits/Communion calls – 984

Families -19.  Communicant numbers vary.  Sometimes both husband and wife or care giver and homebound receive, sometimes not.

Volunteer visitors – 5 active – volunteers are currently unassigned.

Visitors set their days and times directly with the families. For some, this is weekly. Other prefer different schedules. Most of the visitors concentrate on one family. A volunteer visits 2 families weekly. I visit 5 families weekly and a number of others when they call me and request Communion, as well as anyone contacting the office.

In the rare case that there is a personality issue with the family or visitor, the visitor is reassigned. That has happened once in the last 19 years.
