In this week’s first Reading we are asked to look deep in our hearts to forgive another’s sins.

The Lord GOD opens my ear that I may hear; and I have not rebelled, have not turned back. I gave my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who plucked my beard; (Is 50:5-9a)

 We are also reminded to forgive our neighbor’s injustice; then when you pray, your own sins will be forgiven. (Sir 27:30-28:7)
