In the Gospel, Jesus walked with the disciples as a stranger, and their hearts were on fire.

Their eyes were opened when he blessed and broke bread.
Let us know you in the breaking of the bread, and in every person we meet.
They begged him to stay with them in the village they called home.
Please stay with us.
Do not leave us at the end of this day, or at the end of all of our days.
