Dear Confirmation Parents,
Thank you for choosing St. Joseph Catholic Church for your teens to receive their Sacrament of Confirmation. We are thrilled to begin a new year as we welcome back our returning families and also welcome our new families joining us.

This year our confirmation program is moving under the Family of Faith Ministry and will now be led by the director of this ministry. Our pastor has made this change to streamline our programs in order to best serve our families more effectively and to be good stewards of our financial resources.

I have led the A Family of Faith program since December 2023 and I am honored to now serve you and your teens as they prepare for their Sacrament of Confirmation when they’ll receive an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I join you in showing by example how our Catholic Faith is actively lived and animated by the Holy Spirit and love of Jesus. It brings me so much joy to be able to walk with your teens to better understand and live their faith. I look forward to partnering with you in this chapter of your teens faith journey.

I am grateful to Aaron Loverro for his dedication and leadership as the Youth Coordinator over the past two years. He is generously working with me to make this a smooth transition.

Please note: The parent orientation originally scheduled for tomorrow, August 19, is now cancelled. Instead, orientation will take place during our first meeting on Sunday, August 24, in the St. Joseph Workshop, following the 12:00 PM Family of Faith Mass.
