Anointing of the Sick

At St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick takes place the First Saturday 8am Mass of each quarter (January, April, July, October) unless otherwise noted. There is also Anointing of the Sick at the Vietnamese Mass every first Thursday of the month at 7pm.

Please remember that the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick may be celebrated more than once during a person’s lifetime. It is a sacrament of healing and should be celebrated at any downturn in health, be it physical, mental or emotional. Any change for the worse during the course of an existing illness or debilitating condition is an occasion for anointing, as are the infirmities of aging.

Please join our community in this celebration. We look forward to seeing you at the 8am Mass on the first Saturday of each quarter. If you have questions or wish to receive the sacrament at home, please call the parish office.
