Works of Mercy

Works of Mercy are a cornerstone of our Catholic faith—acts of love that reflect Christ’s call to care for those in need. Inspired by the teachings of Jesus and the tradition of the Church, we are invited to live out the Gospel through both the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. Whether we feed the hungry, visit the sick, or pray for the living and the dead, these acts are powerful ways to grow in holiness and build a more compassionate world.

We are called to act and reach out to our neighbors to show Christ’s compassion, especially to the most vulnerable ones. In gratitude and good stewardship, we use our gifts to care for and serve others in love. 1 Peter 4:10.
