SVDP: Harvested for Those We Serve Approximately four to five years ago, a project took root on the property of the Dominican Sisters. Through a shared effort between the Sisters and our St. Vincent de Paul Ministry, orange trees were carefully planted with hope for the future. Today, those trees are flourishing and bearing fruit—fruit that is now being lovingly harvested and distributed to St. Vincent de Paul clients throughout our community. Sr. Jeanette and Sr. Barbara were instrumental in bringing this vision to life. What was planted with faith and dedication several years ago has now grown into a source of fresh nourishment for families in need—a simple yet powerful reminder of how seeds of compassion, when tended with care, can blossom into blessings for many.
