Sadly, the Dominican Sisters’ 2025 olive harvest was damaged by the olive fruit flies. As a result, we will not have olive oil available for sale at the Holiday Boutique scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2026.

Treatment Plan for June:  On Friday, June 19, all olive trees – including those at the Mission Church Patio, School, and Parish parking lot – will be treated with a white coating of Kaolin Clay Surround WP.  This organic clay (used for pottery), which is mixed with water, has been used successfully for years in organic fruit-tree farming and has also proven effective against olive fruit flies.

Every leaf and olive will be coated in white.  The coating will remain in place until harvest time in October or November.  If it rains, the trees may need to be coated again.
