The Appeals of Our Lady A Day of Reflection With Father Jim Sullivan On Saturday, December 27, St. Joseph Catholic Church/Mission San José will host a special day of prayer, teaching, and pilgrimage as we conclude the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025. Father Jim Sullivan will lead a morning of reflection on “Mary – Why and How We Venerate Her,” drawing from Scripture, Church teaching, and the mystical tradition. Throughout the day, pilgrims are invited to visit the Marian exhibition designed by Saint Carlo Acutis, explore the Mission campus, and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Registration for the event is $10 per person (includes hospitality and lunch). The day culminates with the Jubilee Closing Mass, celebrated by Bishop Michael C. Barber, S.J., in the historic Mission Church. Sunday, December 28, offers continued access to the exhibitions for those who wish to return for additional quiet viewing. Please see the flyer below for the full schedule and registration information. The Appeals of Our Lady |
