St. Vincent de Paul would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who have contributed donations in the past few months, including our January 25 collection.  This allows us to continue buying the food we need to provide healthy meals for our neighbors in need.  We also were able to purchase a refrigerator so that we can now accept food that can’t be put in the freezer, such as eggs, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, orange juice, bags of lettuce, pre-made salads and other items.  We add these to the bags we hand out every Tuesday and Thursday.  If we did not accept these donated items, grocery stores would need to discard them as they can’t sell past the date listed.  We truly appreciate everyone’s support and generosity as we continue to help those in need.
