A Gift That Keeps Giving Back – HOM

HOM Volunteers use your gift to buy groceries, bag into grocery bags every Sunday after 10 am Mass at the St. Joseph’s Workshop and hand them over to the unhoused in Fremont three days every week.

The recipients reward us with the grateful appreciations of being respected, cared for, and appreciated. These priceless gestures fill our hearts with a sense of satisfaction that we have done a good deed every time we go out. These rewards and the feeling of satisfaction belong to you as well because your generous donations make the Act of Mercy – feeding the hungry possible.

As we prepare ourselves to receive the newborn baby Jesus in our hearts and receive family and friends in our homes during this Christmas, please do remember the unhoused in your hearts.
