As you may recall, we have been helping one our young refugees, Halima Sultani, who has been in the US 1.5 years, is a 2024 American High School graduate and would like to become a nurse.  Now with your help, Halima is Enrolled!

Today (August 20, 2024) she enrolled in the Clinical Medical Assistant Course! She has a Student Handbook to review and some documents to find before the class begins. She is also still looking for a job so she will be able to buy the book and supplies (manual blood pressure and stethoscope kit and navy blue scrubs) she will need for the class. She is very grateful for our help and will send updates after the class begins. Our Resettlement Team is extremely grateful for the quick support you all gave to make this happen for her.
