Our Mission

Through prayer and service, the St. Joseph family will strive to bring the community together to love, heal, and support one another as the people we are called to be in Christ.

Choices

We are challenged in this week’s Gospel to make good choices, not just in our deeds, but in our hearts as well. Matthew 5:17-37

Do not take a false oath, but make good to the Lord all that you vow. But I say to you, do not swear at all. Let your “Yes” mean “Yes” and your “No” mean “No”

Please join us at Mass as we celebrate this holy season and find ways we can be inspired by Jesus’s love.

Holy Week

Palm Sunday signals the upcoming end of Lent and the beginning of Holy Week. The day commemorates the spreading of palms and clothing in Jesus' path as He entered Jerusalem prior to His crucifixion:

They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" (Mt 21:1-11)

Please join us at Mass as we celebrate this holy season and find ways we can be inspired by Jesus's love.

Pastoral Reflections

We have started a new section of this website dedicated to Reflections from the Staff at Saint Joseph Church. This week, Nancy and Gary Dorighi reflects on Jesus’s message to the disciples.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.
I have come not to abolish but to fulfill…..

In Matthew’s Gospel today, we are surprised by Jesus calling for us to do more than simply comply with the commandments…………….
